In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina took everything he owned in New Orleans, Hunter spun a globe. Landing in the Czech Republic, he found a passion for photography and a place in the film industry.

After 4 years traveling Europe, he returned to New Orleans, to work on feature films large and small, with directors like Rian Johnson, Shane Carruth, and Quentin Tarantino. Six years later, Hunter realized his passion for telling stories was best done globetrotting with a camera around his neck.

His fly on the wall approach to photography captures the truth in his subjects and their context.

Hunter calls New Orleans and Los Angeles home.
